The Campsite La Pinède en Provence is ideally located so that you can enjoy all the points of interest in the region. You will find yourself at the junction between Ardèche, Drôme, Vaucluse and Gard. In less than an hour's drive, you can easily reach: Orange, Avignon, Pont du Gard, Montélimar, Vaison-la-Romaine, prehistoric caves, amusement parks, festivals , natural sites, hiking trails and climbing spots. You will not have time to get bored during your stay in our campsite near the Pont du Gard. In addition, on site, we offer various activities and entertainment for the whole family. At reception, we will provide you with numerous leaflets to learn more about the region.

Gard's Bridge

In just 40 minutes drive from our family campsite, you will be at the Pont du Gard, you will observe one of the most beautiful Roman constructions in perfect state of conservation . In the heart of the wild scrubland, go for a superb walk in the great outdoors. You will discover the Pont du Gard from different points of view. This antique work, dating from the 1st century, is one of the best preserved Roman remains. You will enjoy sitting on the banks of the Gardon to observe this stone giant. 

The sports activities

There will be no shortage of activities around our establishment. You can practice numerous hikes, canoe-kayak in the Gorges de l'Ardèche, follow a cycle touring circuit, go mountain biking, work on your swing or try climbing. We know all the good addresses. One of the region's must-sees is the ViaRhôna. This superb cycling route, 815 km long, offers magnificent panoramas: from the beaches of the Camargue to the vineyards of the Côtes du Rhône, passing through the hilltop villages of Provence and the lavender fields. 

Gourmet visits

The region is known for its sun-drenched fruits and vegetables, its colorful markets and its tempting culinary specialties. We advise you to go to the surrounding Provençal markets to leave with a souvenir of the region: Vaison-la-Romaine, Pont-Saint-Esprit and Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes. Don’t forget to take a detour to Montélimar to taste its famous nougat. 

Natural sites

In less than an hour's drive, you will be in the heart of lush nature, on natural sites that will take you to another era. Take a trip to prehistory with a visit to the Aven d’Orgnac, a cave and museum dating back more than 100 million years. Also explore the Salamander Cave, a magical cavity decorated with gigantic stalagmites. Don't miss the Cascades du Sautadet, a magical geological site formed by the Cèze. 

Theme parks

Young and old alike will be able to have fun, learn and discover in the amusement and zoo parks in the region. We advise you to go to the Ferme aux Crocodiles in Pierrelatte to observe reptiles evolving in a preserved natural space. Continue with the Parc Spirou Provence, then the Children's Village in Montagnac and finish with the educational farm Au Bonheur des Animaux

Museums

A large number of high heritage sites or museums are less than an hour's drive from our 3-star family campsite strong>. We invite you to discover the Ancient Theater of Orange, the Palais des Papes in Avignon, the Lavender Museum, the Aviation Museum, the Archaeological Museum of Vaison-la-Romaine, the Orange Museum, the Wine Museum and the Candy Museum... and so many others, young and old! Go to the reception of your campsite, we will share with you all the good addresses in the surrounding area.

Picturesque villages

A few kilometers away, we suggest you visit some of the most beautiful villages in the region. They will charm you with their cobbled streets, their historic monuments and their flowery squares. We look forward to meeting you at Garde-Adhémar with its white stone facades, at Bollène with the troglodyte village of Barry, at Pont-Saint-Esprit passing by the oldest bridge on the Rhône, in Gigondas surrounded by more than 1,200 hectares of vineyards and in Barjac labeled “Village of Character”.  

Cities steeped in history

The largest cities in the region will only be a few minutes’ drive away. We advise you to go to Avignon, to visit the sublime Palais des Papes, its city center surrounded by ramparts and its famous bridge. Continue with a visit to Orange and its many remains from the Roman era, such as the Arc de Triomphe and the Ancient Theater. Continue with Vaison-la-Romaine and its 2,000 years of open-air history. Extend your visit with Montélimar and the discovery of its Château des Adhémar. Finish with Uzès, the first duchy of France and its famous Place aux Herbes

The region is punctuated by numerous festivals, concerts and cultural events.
